2015 Lunar Eclipses

Lunar eclipses occur when the Sun is in front of all or part of the full moon for a short time. In an astrological sense, lunar eclipses typically mean an end to something that has been going on since the last eclipse. This usually points to the end of things such as settlements and business plans. They'll become finalized during the lunar eclipse. But, this could also be a finalization of something that's been holding you back, such as a bad relationship or a divorce. 

Normally, eclipses happen in six-month periods. The eclipses for 2015 occur in the same signs as they did in 2014, Libra and Aries, respectively. 

Our first lunar eclipse, a total eclipse, comes on April 4. It'll be able to be seen along the Pacific and eastern Indian oceans, and all continents bordering (North and South America, Asia, Australia, and the Artic). This eclipse will be falling in 15 Libra. This points to a time of new birth. Again, take this time as a positive and put any and all unresolved issues to rest. Literally, let these issues die, and try not to save them. 

The next lunar eclipse, another total eclipse, occurs on September 28. This eclipse will be able to be seen on the opposite side of the earlier eclipse, along the Atlantic, eastern Pacific, and western Indian oceans, and all bordering continents (Antarctica, North and South America, Africa, Europe, and eastern Asia).This, along with the earlier eclipse, is an emotional one. There's also a focus on relationship yet again during this lunar eclipse. If you didn't get the chance to take action on a failing relationship, whether it be a friendship or a more intimate one, you'll have a second chance during this lunar eclipse. Free yourself from whatever is holding you back from being you, that's the key during this time.

Mercury Retrograde, Nov 2012 and 2 Eclipses

Mercury's retrograde is November 6th to November 26th. 

The purpose of Mercury retrograde is to review and revise our life and our connection with reality. When Mercury retrogrades, we find that many parts of our life are being revised. Often these revisions can be a surprise or throw us back a step. However, these revisions which occur during a Mercury retrograde, are a "course correction" and provide a stop gap measure until we can review situations. The best mode to be in during a Mercury retrograde is one of "non-reaction", and with earth signs being impacted, physical environment will be changing continually during a Mercury retrograde.

There can be purging, venting, raging -- a volcano of emotion that's been capped is opened. Be cautious about making decisions, if you experience a personal meltdown. Along with it being Mercury retrograde, the emotional force that's unleashed can lead to acting from peak intensity. I'm sure you've experienced that sense of being blinded by rage. It's wise to give yourself time to deal with (transform) and integrate all that's rising. 

This retrograde invites us to recover any lost parts of who we are. You might get synchronised in the form of reminders of something that has a strong emotional punch or pull. It's powerful to hold something with healing awareness, that's been a source of pain or self-judgement. 

In general, a Mercury Retrograde turns our minds and our thoughts to the past. Mercury is the ruler of the mind, communication, transportation, short trips, and neighbours. Often when Mercury is at his stations (the point of changing directions either backward or forward) things are most difficult. Expect travel delays and detours. Mercury’s retrograde is not a good time to start a new job or relationship.

Astrological Effects of Complete Lunar Eclipse – 15 June’2011

An eclipse of the Moon can only take place at a Full Moon, and only if the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth's shadow. The closer the Moon is to the center of the shadow, the more total the eclipse. A lunar eclipse is visible wherever the Moon is above the horizon.

December 20/21st is the Total Lunar Eclipse

A Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible after midnight Eastern Standard Time on December 21 in North and South America. The beginning of the total eclipse will be visible from northern Europe just before sunrise. The end of the total eclipse will be visible rising at sunset for Japan and northeastern Asia.

It will be the first total lunar eclipse in nearly 3 years, the last being on February 20, 2008.

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Earth gets between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon. Solar eclipses occur during New Moons, and Lunar Eclipses occur during Full Moons. The eclipse of the Moon, when the light of the Moon mysteriously darkens at the luminous height of a Full Moon, has traditionally been viewed as a bad omen as it can awaken distinctly irrational responses.

A Solar Eclipse affects people on a more outward, public level. A Lunar eclipse will cause he Moon governs the emotional personality, rather than leadership, domestic matters so one can expect a deeper, more inward shift with this upcoming Lunar Eclipse.

Partial Lunar Eclipse on December 31, 2009

On this day Ketugrasta partial lunar eclipse happens. This eclipse happens in Arudra nakshtra and Mithuna Rasi and the effect of this partial lunar eclipse begins at night 12.25 and ends at night 1.25. As per the Vedas, tarpan should be perfomed after the eclipses in order to appease the souls as it is during the Eclipse time these souls come to the earthplane.
