Total Solar Eclipse occurs on 9 March 2016 when Sun is conjunct with Moon in Aquarius aspected by Jupiter and Rahu in Leo. Both Moon and Sun will be on constellation of Poorvabhadra and Jupiter, Rahu in UttaraPhalguni constellation during this eclipse.

Mercury Retrograde, Nov 2012 and 2 Eclipses

Mercury's retrograde is November 6th to November 26th. 

The purpose of Mercury retrograde is to review and revise our life and our connection with reality. When Mercury retrogrades, we find that many parts of our life are being revised. Often these revisions can be a surprise or throw us back a step. However, these revisions which occur during a Mercury retrograde, are a "course correction" and provide a stop gap measure until we can review situations. The best mode to be in during a Mercury retrograde is one of "non-reaction", and with earth signs being impacted, physical environment will be changing continually during a Mercury retrograde.

There can be purging, venting, raging -- a volcano of emotion that's been capped is opened. Be cautious about making decisions, if you experience a personal meltdown. The Surya Grahan, Annular Solar Eclipse will take place on May 20-21, 2012 in India – early morning hours in northeastern parts of India.

The Surya Grahan is a Annular solar eclipse and is visible in northeastern parts of India, Myanmar, Japan, Korea and on the evening of May 20, 2012 along the pacific coast of United States. The Suryagrahan will

begin on 20th May at 02:26 hrs and will end on 21st May morning at 08:19 hrs. It will be visible in eastern states of India only for few minutes after sunrise.

Note the eclipse takes place on the pacific coast of United States on the evening of May 20, 2012. – Time here is from 16:24:59 hrs to 18:42:40 local time in Los Angeles.

The Eclipse will be visible in China, Russia, South East Asia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Veitnam, Singapore and North America. The Kankan image of this eclipse will be visible in East Asian countries only.

It will be visible in eastern states of India like, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Sikkim, Nagaland and West Bengal for few minutes after sunrise.

Partial Solar Eclipse - 2009 Jan 26th

The Solar Eclipse will be visible in South India, some parts of Eastern India, South Africa and Western Australia. The eclipse is slated to begin in South Africa and end in South Eastern China. Full eclipse will be visible in Japan and Southern China as well as other Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam & Korea including some parts of Southern India, while the central path of the eclipse runs through Sumatran islands of Indonesian region. Impact is likely to be felt be in those areas only, especially in the region of Thailand to Japan.

This eclipse of the Sun is a northern hemisphere event. The total eclipse starts at sunrise in the extreme north of Canada. At first it moves to the east into the Arctic, skirting northern Greenland and passing north Scandinavia. As it moves north of Russia the path turns to the south east passing through Siberia to skirt western Mongolia and on into China where it ends at sunset north of Wuhan.
On Friday, 1st August 2008, a total solar eclipse of the Sun is visible from a narrow corridor that traverses half the Earth. The path of the Moon’s umbral shadow begins in Canada and extends across northern Greenland, the Arctic, central Russia, Mongolia, and finally China where it will end at sunset. The path of totality begins in northern Canada and ends in northern China. The instant of greatest eclipse occurs at 10:21:07 UT (latitude 65° 39'N, longitude 72° 18'E) when the axis of the Moon’s shadow passes closest to the centre of Earth.
